manner when it comes to his role as an eyewitness and to that as
the author (John 19:35; 21:24).
The Beloved Disciple whom Jesus loved as narrated in
the John’s gospel have made a mark in the passion narrative of
Jesus Christ. Today we are called to be a Beloved Disciple to be
closer with Jesus, to take care of elderly women who are left out,
to believe unconditionally, and to submit ourselves to the will of
God, for God’s plans may be fulfilled in our lives. Let us be one
of his disciples whom he loves.
Prayer
Ever Loving God, thankyou for your unconditional love
towards us. Give us the courage to pour out your magnificent
love towards our fellow human beings, especially to the broken
humanity. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
