Class: VI
Subject: Social Science
Topic: Maps
Maps present information about the world in a simple visual way. They support
special thinking by helping children visualize where objects, places, cities and
countries are in relation to one another. The students understood the values of
maps by drawing and having a group discussion. They compared different types
of maps and explained how useful they are in our daily life. In another
experiment, students observed the changes that happen when they keep a piece
of magnet next to a compass.
