Activity: Making Seed Balls
Seed Ball Making - This fun creative activity was aimed at highlighting students
about the easiest and sustainable ways of cultivating plants. With seed balls, we
can propagate plants and trees from seeds, without the need for opening the soil
with cultivation tools like a plough.
Apart from making the Seed Balls the students were also asked to find out the

importance of the seed/plant they were going to make as seed ball and prepare
a short description of the seed they were using to make the seed ball (like the
common name, local name, botanical name). The students participated in this

activity with great interest.
