Why Diversity is Important

 Diversity may lead to greater service

effectiveness, efficiency and productivity

 Diversity can lead to more creative
alternatives and higher quality ideas,

primarily from the introduction of different
and opposing ideas and viewpoints

 Diversity helps to increase one’s
understanding of the community and the
marketplace, and also increases the quality
of team problem solving
