4 Alamance County is an area that is known to not have affordable and safe housing. If a individual 8/15/2019 11:53 AM
or family is living in unsafe conditions this leads to continous fear and therefore does not provide a
safe environment. If our agency was to receive extra funding for housing we would be able to
assist those individuals/families with obtaining affordable and safe housing for a longer period of
time, and this would in-turn cause the family to be able to become more self-reliant.

repairs for low-income families. Combine resources to increase impact and ensure services are
reaching those most in need. Work with the current housing in the area to make it more livable and
healthier for the families. We would add water testing to our current housing services and also
provide septic and well water programs.

would build a tiny house village for transitional housing.

communities around housing needs and affordability. Work with our public entities to develop
programming in our blighted communities that educate, employ and assist with housing needs.
