RESEARCH AND STRATEGIC

I N I T I A T I V E S

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research/Strategic Initiatives and Executive Director of

Title III Programs is a multi-functional one. This office contributes to the overall support of the
entire mission, vision and goals of Southern University at New Orleans.

As it relates to Research,
our overall goal remains to

be - to increase, to
strengthen and to enhance

the research infrastructure
at SUNO.

In mid-June (via webex),
SUNO agreed to work on a

joint COVID-19 Research
Project with LSU and

SUBR.

SUNO will continue to direct and

coordinate the daily operations of
each of the Title III Programs,

oversee the programmatic and
budgetary matters of the Title III

funded Activities and supervise the
immediate staff.

Other activities include,
coordinating and preparing the Pre-

Collegiate Conference and ensuring
a successful awards and honor day

for our students.
