WORLDWIDE INDUCTION DAY
AN IMPRESSIVE CEREMONY
COUNCIL CHAIR INGRID ANDREWS-CAMPBELL’S
WELCOME ADDRESS
“Alone, we can do so little, but together, we can do so much”
Following a warm, welcoming greeting to the
inductees, CC Ingrid advised, “We have work
for you to do, and you are not coming to hang
out with us. Your club will assign you to work
immediately because there are many critical
community projects to be addressed. The
District also needs your leadership abilities”.
Redirecting her attention to the sponsors and
the club officers, CC Ingrid emphasized that
there are far-reaching implications for
retaining quality membership. “A prime
sustainability factor,” she added,” is
membership satisfaction through engaging
projects and programs. And encourage new
members to express their passion to develop
new approaches to new and / different
ventures,”
Council Chair Ingrid challenged the Lions of
District 20-K1 to continue the recruitment
process to increase the family of Lions to 1.5
million. (The goal of MISSION 1.5). She
expressed her pride in being a member of
District 20-K1, the “Flagship” District in the
Multiple. “Let us continue to serve our
community. We are in the service business, Alone, we can do so little, but together, we can do so much,
CC Ingrid reminds the inductees
but also in leadership and membership
business. We need Leaders to be Leaders and
to keep our District membership afloat”.
