QUEENS LAS AMERICAS “FOR 9 MILLION

REASONS”

Los Leones y Leos de Queens Las Américas se asociaron con 9Million Reasons para mejorar la calidad de vida de
todos los neoyorquinos.
El servicio incluyó el empaque de alimentos y pañales que se distribuirán entre varias comunidades.

Con más de 9 millones de personas viviendo en esta ciudad, podemos pensar en "9 millones de razones" para
retribuir. El Club de Leones de Queens Las Américas es parte de una red de voluntarios que se asocia con Evangel
Church, una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3) en Long Island City. Otros recursos incluyen clases de ESL y
GED, capacitación laboral, asistencia con asuntos de inmigración y apoyo para diversos eventos de desarrollo
comunitario.

TRANSLATION

Queens Las Americas Lions and Leos partnered with 9Million Reasons to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers.
Service included packing food items and diapers to be distributed across various communities.

With over 9 million people living in this city, we can think of “9 million reasons” to give back. Queens Las Americas
Lions Club is part of a volunteer network that teams with Evangel Church, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Long
Island City. Other resources include ESL and GED classes, job training, assistance with immigration issues, and
support for diverse community-building events.
