FIRST RESPONDERS LIONS CLUB SUPPORTS

MISSION 1.5

On Wednesday, April 24th, a First Responders Lions club delegation, led by Lion Winston Willabus, NYPD
Commanding Officer of the 73rd Precinct Detective Squad, met with NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban at the
NYPD Police Headquarters.

The purpose of the meeting was to share the goals and objectives of Lions Clubs International and stimulate an
interest in membership recruitment.

First Responders Lions Club is the only specialty club chartered in New York State. Lion President Dimple
Willabus highlighted the strategic importance of having such a thriving, highly visible community-based
organization that serves the various areas of humanitarian need.

The discussion was productive, and we look forward to the “next steps”
