VCB UPDATE ON SUMMER CAMPS

We hope that this update finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe during these trying times.

We regret to inform you that the VCB Lions Workday, scheduled for June 6, 2020 has been cancelled, as well as the
Weekend Program scheduled for June 5 - 7. We have also cancelled the VCB Weekend Program, scheduled for June
26 - 28. Given the current state of the COVID-19 Pandemic in NYS and what we anticipate the restrictions imposed by
the State and local government by the start of our, traditional Summer Program, VISIONS has decided to cancel the
first three Summer Program Sessions from July 24 through August 12. We did not come to these decisions lightly,
nor did we want to cancel. We are doing our part to ensure that our participants, staff and friends stay healthy and
safe.

The annually scheduled Volunteer Recognition / Lions Day which normally takes place on the first Sunday in August
is also affected by this decision. However, we are exploring virtual options or rescheduling the event. We hope to
have final information about this by the end of June, so stay tuned.

Virtual Programs will be offered July 23 - 24 and July 30 - 31 in order to bring our VCB community together, and in-
person services for small groups at our Residential Rehab family programming at some point in August.

We hope to resume our Weekend Program this Fall, albeit with smaller groups. We look forward to remaining in touch
