To All Lions and Leos

Hello to all fellow Lions and Leos. I am writing to you in these uncertain times with concerned thoughts
of you and your family. Some of us are living alone, but we must always keep in mind that we have the
solace that our Lions’ family is just a call away.

Lions and Leos, some of you may be wondering about the status of the second eyeglasses collection and
the bus ride used as the tool to deliver them. Well, after consideration and input from DG Deborah Harri-
son, this is the decision for the second eyeglasses collection, of this Lionistic year:
1. The second eyeglasses collection, scheduled for May 2020, is cancelled. You are asked to store
collected eyeglasses until the next collection date. If you may, you can continue to ask people
to collect (and keep) them for you.

2. The Bus Ride is cancelled for this year.

Lions and Leos, this is just a little setback, we are not going to make this stop us from doing what we
signed up to do. We know that this is an ongoing project and we are going to do the best we can to make
District 20K-1 look good. Please continue your good service in collecting the eyeglasses.
