                            *  MD20 Council of Governors donated $1,000 to Campaign 100
                            *  The MD20 Technology Team (PCC Kelly Clark, Lions Orin Hazelwood
                              and Aaron Dey) launched a new MD20 website - MD20lions.org

      Focus of  IP Douglas X. Alexander’s  Address:

      ❖ “I am so proud to serve as the 5th. International President from New York!”

      ❖ It has been a challenging year, but Lions and Leos confronted the hurdles of COVID,
         learned how to apply the technology and continued to serve safely.
      ❖ Let’s continue to follow the process of the Global Membership Approach and we can
         reach the new target of 1.5 million members.
      ❖ Membership and member satisfaction are the lifeblood of Lions Clubs International
      ❖ Humanitarian Service is out priority.  It is why we exist.  We want to make a positive
         difference in people’s lives.

      ❖ A productive leader must have a plan that includes opportunities for others to grow,
         develop their own leadership style and skills to assume new responsibilities

      ❖ Establish clear communication across all generations because people may “hear”
         different messages.
      ❖ Above all, lead by example with a smile, eye contact and speaking truth.

      ❖ Leos’ leadership development is critical for organizational sustainability. 2 Leos have
         seats at LCI Board of Directors

      ❖ So far, Campaign 100 has raised $297 million and the goal of $300 million is within reach.
      ❖ To date, LCIF has donated $5million in aid to refugees in Ukraine, Afghanistan and
         surrounding countries.  Since 1968, over $1.2 billion in humanitarian grant assistance.
