BROOKLYN METROPOLIS hosts fundraiser for Childhood CANCER

BROOKLYN METROPOLIS WALKS FOR CANCER
On October 10, 2021, and October 17, 2021, the club participated in the Brooklyn Making Strides Walk
and the Queens Making Strides Walk. Both walks encouraged survivors, friends and family. Relevant
informative literature was shared.

In another project, head scarves were made by club member. For each scarf sold, we doubled that
amount for a donation to a treatment center in Great Neck NY. Proceeds were also sent to a non-
profit organization in Connecticut that assists economically disadvantaged cancer survivors.
