CONGRATS TO LEO ARUNA BUDHRAM

On Monday August 23, in a small ceremony at the home of IPLDC Sandy
Fraser-Thomas, Leo Aruna Budhram (Leo District President, 2020 – 2021)
South Ozone Park Leo Club) was presented with the International
President’s Leadership Award by IPLDC Sandy. Also in attendance, were
members of her family, Leo Advisor Mary Diakite and Lion Romeo Hitlall,
sponsoring club president.

LEOS RENEW THEIR ROAR FOR SERVICE

On Sunday, August 15, 2021, the Leos of District 20-K1 began this Lionistic year ready to Renew their
Roar for Service by collecting school supplies and personal hygiene products for children in the NYC
shelter system. They did so well that the collection table began to bow under the weight of the donated
items. Leos could only smile at what they had accomplished during the District 20-K1 Family and Friends
Day Picnic held at Jehu Table located at 2424 Linden Blvd in Brooklyn. The Leos were able to take a
