PIP Doug Serves
at Annual Thanksgiving Project
On Sunday November 13, PIP Douglas X.
Alexander served with his fellow club members
from Brooklyn Bedford Stuyvesant Lions Club
and Brooklyn Stuy Park Lions Club at their
annual joint service project. The clubs’
members packed Thanksgiving food baskets
(small tubs) and delivered them to less
fortunate families in the Brooklyn community.
Participants in this project were honored and
excited that PIP Doug was available to pack and
deliver baskets. Each basket contained a turkey
and other food items to prepare a Thanksgiving
Dinner, with all the trimmings, for a family of at
least five. Also serving but not in pictures, are
Leo Devonte’ Jenkins, (Stuy Park), Lions Warren PIP Douglas X. Alexander serves with Lions Michelle Easie, Prince
Bond and Shirley Maddox. Felix, Leonette Jones (President of Stuy Park) and Chris Mc Pherson
Lions Prince and Janet Felix graciously opened
their home and provided space for this service
project. Lion Janet also prepared a delicious
meal for the Lions who participated.
