“Never let a good crisis go to waste” ~ Winston Churchill
To alleviate hunger during Thanksgiving, the club donated a Thanksgiving basket to St. Mary
Magdalene Roman Catholic Church, St. John Baptist Church, Inwood, Christ the King Roman
Catholic Church and the Helen Keller Services for the Blind. Each basket included a turkey
with stuffing, corn muffin mix, rice, gravy, macaroni and cheese, fresh green beans and collard
greens, potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, yams, sparking grape juice, and a sweet potato pie. The
club looks forward to 2022, to identify more families in need of food donations.
