District 20-K1 Leos Promote Cheer Toy Drive 2021!

District 20-K1 Leos and Liaisons “teamed” together to collect toys
for needy children in NYC shelters. The Leos wanted to directly
help the children to make sure that they have a good holiday
season, especially in these uncertain times.

Toys were dropped off at the Laurelton LIRR Station in Queens and
at P.S. 5 in Brooklyn. Stuy Park Leos and Lions were on hand to
collect the toys (over 100 toys were collected from the 2
locations). Even DG Anthony Cochran stopped by to donate to this
worthy cause. Toy donations will be delivered this week to different DG Anthony surrounded by the toys
NYC shelters in time for the children to have a Cheery Christmas.

Our District Leos remember the reason for the season and thank
every individual and club that stopped by to make a donation!
