freshly frozen chickens, Lions Mike Yansen
and Patricia Muir donated 42 turkeys and
Lion Tracy Jones - Walker provided
assorted food items. Brooklyn Crown
Heights, Brooklyn Stuy Park and Brooklyn
Transition Lions Clubs contributed financial
donations to support and ensure the success
of this project.
As clients waited on a line that wrapped
around the block, they were warmly greeted
by IFVP Doug and DG Jackie who encour-
aged them to continue the precautionary
practices of mask wearing, social distancing
and frequent hand washing. She further
explained the Lions’ mission of community
service to those in need. Two persons ex-
pressed an interest in serving in a Lions
