El Club de Leones Queens Colombia donó
máscaras quirúrgicas y otros tipos de equipo
médico que se distribuirán a la comunidad a
través del Centro Cívico Colombiano de Nue-
va York.

English Translation:

The Queens Colombia Lions Club donat-
ed surgical masks and other types of medical
equipment that will be distributed to the com-
munity through the Colombian Civic Center
of New York.

THE LIGHTS OF
DIWALI

SHINE IN QUEENS

The health and safety of our Lions and the
viability of our communities are our top priori-
ty. On November 4, 2020, with face mask and
social distancing in place, the QUEENS
COMMUNITY LIONS CLUB collaborated
with the OZONE PARK / HOWARD
BEACH / WOODHAVEN LIONS CLUB,
( the newest Lions Club in District 20-K1), to
subsidize the disturbing economic downturn in
our community.

Boxes of basic food staples to provide for the
feast, face masks, hand sanitizers and tradi-
tional sweets were distributed to over 200
people, to mark the celebration of Diwali.

President Indarjeet Paul of the QCLC and
President Sam Esposito of OPHBWLC believe
that we strengthen the “Pride” when we iden-
tify the diverse needs in our community and
come together to offer valuable service.
