ROSEDALE LIONS SERVE
Central Brooklyn serves at
Fenimore United Methodist On November 21, 2019 Rosedale Lions
hosted their annual Pre Thanksgiving
Church. Dinner for 75 children from the Sarato-
ga Inn Shelter.
The event was very successful. Fol-
lowing the delicious three-course meal,
the children showed their appreciation
with a Program of speeches and other
presentations, all in the spirit of
Thanksgiving.
The club also gave monetary gifts to
two deserving families who were ex-
tremely grateful for this humanitarian
gesture. One family was comprised of
three young children who are being
cared for by their aging grandmother.
They received gifts. The other is a re-
cently widowed woman who has isolat-

members serve hot meals was given a basket of cheer, we
also encouraged her with some
counseling and an invitation to
participate in our service pro-
jects.
We salute and send special
thanks to Council Person Do-
novan Richards who was repre-
sented by Manuel Silva, Chief of
Staff. We also recognize PDG
Pauline Francis and Merlene
Smith-Setillo from Sickle Cell
Foundation for their service in
this project.
