Jordy Groters breaks ON the third day of the 16 FINA World Championship in Kazan,
an Aruban record
in Kazan, Russia Russia Jordy Groters concluded the competition with tremendous
and impressive results.
In the 50m breast stroke Jordy Groters improved his time thus
breaking an Aruban record once more with a time of 28.64.
With this time Jordy ended up in 41st place world ranking.

Jordy Groters’ coach Andrew Grevers from the University of Mis-
souri that accompanied him to Kazan was extremely satisfied with
Jordy’s performance. He explained that during Jordy’s first year
at the University of Missouri they worked hard on helping him
improve his style technique.
Big changes such as location changes always affect the results at the
beginning of the competition. Coach Grevers is extremely happy
that despite this change Jordy still managed to improve his time
and is convinced that they will start working on Jordy’s speed next
year, which will results in much faster time results.

Jordy Groters can now take some time to relax
in Kazan and enjoy the championship. Af-
terwards Jordy will return to Missouri
where he will start preparing for the
short pool period at the American
Universities.
Jordy Groters will now be entering
his second year of his education
at the University of Missouri and
he expressed how ready and ex-
ited he is for the next year.
