Nurse          :  ”Thank you. Today, I’ll be giving you insulin glargine. It’s a long-acting insulin to

                Mrs. Naina     :  "Yes, that’s the one I’m taking.”
                Nurse          :  ”Great. Just to confirm, you’ll be receiving 10 units this morning, as prescribed.
                Dhania           Does that dosage look familiar to you?”
                Mrs. Naina     :  ”Yes, I usually get 10 units in the morning.”
                Nurse          :  ”Wonderful. I’ll be injecting this subcutaneously, which means it’ll go just under
                Dhania           your skin, in the fatty tissue. Is it okay if I inject it in your abdomen?”
                Mrs. Naina     :  ”Yes, that’s fine. That’s where they usually give it to me.”
                Nurse          :  ”Perfect. I’ll be giving it to you at 9 a.m., as per your usual schedule.  Now, before I
                Dhania           continue, do you have any known allergies to medications, or have you ever had
                                 any reactions to insulin in the past?”
                Mrs. Naina     :  "No allergies that I know of, and I haven’t had any problems with insulin before."
                Nurse          :  "Good to hear. Just a reminder, you might experience some mild side effects, such
                Dhania           as slight redness or irritation at the injection site. Occasionally, people may feel
                                 dizzy if their blood sugar drops too low after insulin, so let me know if that
                                 happens."
                Mrs. Naina     :  "Alright, I’ll keep an eye on it."
                Nurse          :  "Great. I will proceed and give you the shot. All done! I’ll be back in about an hour to
                Dhania           check in on you. Remember, if you feel dizzy, shaky, or notice any unusual
                                 symptoms, press the call button right away."
                Mrs. Naina     :  "Thank you, Nurse. I appreciate the help."
                Nurse          :  "You’re welcome, Mrs. Stay active today if you can, and stick to your diet plan. It
                Dhania           really helps the insulin work effectively. Let me know if you need anything.
