The Pieces of Me icons are a culmination of targeted research and design.
The traits offered by Pieces of Me were selected after multiple rounds of
market surveys were conducted and represent the traits most commonly
used by survey-takers to describe themselves, or their friends and family.

Extensive time was then spent delving into the meaning of each trait and
compiling images that embodied the essence and spirit of them as well.
From this gathered information and visual inspiration, the first set of icons
were created.

Over 900 different sketches

and iterations of the traits were

completed, as well as research

gauging market response to the

designs, all to arrive at what the

final icons are today.
