Some basic knots
These basic knots are simple to tie and easy to undo.
Overhand knot
To prevent the end of a rope from unraveling, it’s easiest to make an
overhand knot. It is also used to make a stopper in a line.
Follow the illustration. Make a loop and poke the rope end through the eye.
Now you’ve made the simplest and perhaps most common of all knots.
