Sushi from Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. I was born in
Japan and moved to the US at age 3. The original plan for my
family was a 5-year temporary stay here, but somehow I've end-

ed up settling down in the US. I visit relatives every 1 to 2 years
but haven't been able to since the country's intense COVID bor-
der controls. I hope to return this year.
