Lunch Room
By Sophia Nicholas
Please make sure you clean up after yourselves because
Mr.Sabin works hard on cleaning our lunch room. It's crazy the
amount of trash our custodians clean up after all the lunches .
And the lunch ladies work hard on making the food and the
amount of food wasted is crazy. Really crazy. But maybe if all
the kids in Pfeiffer work hard cleaning up maybe our custodians
won't have to clean up so much . Maybe cleaning up our food
could be our job so that our custodians won't have to do their
jobs so hard. And the food that the lunch ladies make may not
be your favorite, but it could be others' favorites.
Retirement of Mrs. Marshall
By Cheyenne Romans
She was a wonderful teacher here at
Pfeiffer. We sure will miss her, but on the
bright side she is going to be happy. She is
looking forward to a lot of things such as, She
wants to go on hikes, read books, sewing,
play the piano, gardening, spending time with
her husband and traveling. She wanted to
become a teacher because her mom and dad
helped her play school when she was in high
school. Instead of having more Gym time, her
teacher said it would be more beneficial for
her to help out in a classroom and from then
on she knew she wanted to be a teacher to
help kids. That's why she came to Pfeiffer.
Her favorite things include flowers and her cat
Luna. Her favorite food is fish. Her favorite
thing about Pfeiffer is being around the kids.
I'm so sad she is retiring. We are going to
enjoy the rest of the time she is here, but we Photo Credit: Cheyenne Romans
are happy for her.
Congratulations to all the Retiring Teachers and Staff at Pfeiffer this year: Mr.
Jeffreys, Mrs. Craig, Mrs. Marshall, Mr. Baughman, Mr. Turner, and Mrs. Miller!
