McMaster Medical School and Town-Gown

                  Tensions

cMaster’s medical school introduced a unique, self-learning program and a three-year curriculum. Local physicians,
Mincluding my father, initially viewed it as a threat to their practices. I found myself serving as a bridge between the
original Hamilton doctors, like Mike Newhouse, and the newer British hires, like Moran Campbell. This role helped me
build strong relationships and establish my position within the institution.
