     Air Law
                                or
                            -  with an approved maximum cabin configuration of more than 19
                                passenger seats,
                                or
                            -  certified to operate with a minimum crew of at least two pilots,
                                or
                            -  with one or more turbine engines or more than one turboprop
                                engine,
                       2.  A helicopter:
                              -  with a maximum takeoff mass over 3,175 kg,
                              •  or
                              -  with an approved maximum cabin configuration of more than
                                 nine passenger seats,
                              •  or
                              -  certified to operate with a minimum crew of at least two pilots,
                       3.  An aircraft with a tiltable rotor.
                Airship:
                A powered aircraft that is lighter than air, excluding hot-air balloons, which are
                considered a balloon under this definition.
                Balloon:
                An aircraft that is lighter than air, not powered by an engine, and supported by
                gas or an airborne burner. In this section, a hot-air balloon is also considered a
                balloon, even though it is powered.
                Airplane Class:
                A classification of airplanes with one pilot that does not require a type rating.
                Balloon Class:
                A classification of balloons considering the methods of buoyancy used to lift
                them.
