Nautical miles match the speed in Kt, as 1 Kt. = 1 NM per hour.

Round up to the nearest whole NM, as we must have turned onto a new course,

so the time will not match if we round down.

7.9.2.4 Examine affected airports

In VFG (Visual Flight Guide), found at https://aim.naviair.dkthe airports we fly

over are examined.

We note frequencies and examine whether there are local regulations that we

must comply with.

Check runway directions and runway lengths.

Also check opening hours at the airport.

There are various files we need to

open.

- VAC – the map shown here

- ADC – airport map with run-

ways etc.

- TEXT – with opening hours

and special conditions etc.

When this has been done for all

airports, we are ready to enter the

details in our operational flight

plan.
