7.9.2.8 Flight times
Regarding the earliest time we can start VFR in the morning, and when the daily
period for VFR flight ends, we can see in the table here that for September 16th
the following applies:
You can start at 0418 UTC in the morning
(local 0618). You are allowed to fly in the
evening until 1818UTC, and locally that is
until 2018.
7.9.2.9 Weight and balance calculation
Weight and balance calculation is necessary before we fuel the aircraft. It is a
scandal to discover that there is no room for grandma's handbags or the like. So
refuel after your calculation.
For the balance calculation, we need to find moments for all weights. We find
them on a Loading graph, see next page.
