Navigation

Whether a correction is necessary is determined by visually comparing the

landscape with the map. It is incredibly easy to get off track and very difficult to

get back, so you must constantly orient yourself so that you do not suddenly lose

                your orientation.

                9.11.3.3 Fuel level

During the flight, there should be a balance in the fuel level, which is why you

need to switch between the tanks, unless the aircraft's fuel selector has a

position where it takes from both tanks simultaneously.

If the fuel selector is not set to “BOTH”, it is possible to fly a tank empty. Then it

is nice to have a nice long field to land on/in, so that you can get the selector set

to the right position! ( )

9.11.3.4 Distribution of work in the cockpit

                If there are several people

on the plane, it can be an
                advantage to distribute the

                workload among them. The

                distribution must of course

                be done in the most

                appropriate way, so that

you do what you do best.

It will always be a matter of discretion, but you could imagine that one person is

responsible for radio communication, while another takes care of navigation.

If you are alone on the plane, it is very important that you have made clear

before starting the flight what you want to say/do when, so that you are not
suddenly surprised and perhaps are getting disorientated.
