• Trusted advisor for a large healthcare operator with a number of nursing homes in Sussex and a substantial investment portfolio
• Acquisition of a new retail park in Coventry and its subsequent development and letting of 20 units to various high street names

Career: Joined DJB in 2019 following a career at Dentons UK & Middle East LLP. Jo specialises in retail.
Career Highlights:
• New lease of central bakery production premises for a supermarket
• Various lease renewals for Argos at existing stores
• Estate management advice for a supermarket chain including new leases, lease renewals and licences
• Grant of a new 10 year lease of of ce premises for Defra

• Acquisition of new premises for the Attorney General’s Of ce and disposal of their old premises
• Advised HM Treasury on the rst Sukuk bond to be entered into by a western government
• Recently advised BEIS on the transfer of the Wave Hub which involved lease work for sea beds
