“When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the
Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the

doorframe at the homes of the Jews and will pass over that
doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your

houses and strike you down.” (Ex 12:23)

It was the told, the plague of death would only pass over
those that had smeared a blood of a slain lamb on the door

frames. The household with a smeared blood did not receive
any plague. This blood represents the blood of the Christ.

Anyone sprinkled with the blood of the Christ will not see
death.

“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the

world!” (John 1:29)

The Bible speaks of Jesus as “the Lamb of God.” Jesus
bore our sins and to redeem us, he took up the cross.

Therefore, anyone sprinkled with the blood of Jesus will
receive redemp-tion.

The Blood spilled at the tabernacle represents the blood
poured out from the Lord. The reason sacrifices are given 365
