If the priests had sinned, the priests would lay on their
hands. Likewise, if the elders had sinned, the elders would
lay on their hands. If a person, who brought the animal,
had sinned, that person would personally lay hands on the
animal. What does this represent? It means “I will burn like
the animal.”
The Tabernacle has the Wash Basin. Priests had to go
through the wash basin, in order that they may enter the holy
place. It was to wash off the blood of the animals from their
hands and feet.
“Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with
water from it. Whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting, they
shall wash with water, so that they will not die. Also, when
they approach the altar to minister by presenting an offering
made to the LORD by fire,” (Exodus 30:19)
Likewise, we must repent daily. By doing so, we will be
able to worship in truth that leads to experiencing God’s
Glory.
