This altar is placed right in front of the most Holy Place. The

altar of incense represents the prayers of the saints. Actually,
the altar of incense is to be kept burning throughout 365

days of the year. This Holy incense filled the Holy Place.
Likewise, David in his hope prayed that his prayer would be

             like that of incense.

“May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the
lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.” (Palms

             141:2)

In the Book of Revelations, it records that the prayers of
saints were lifted up to be laid in front of the lamb.

“And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the

twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had
a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense,

which are the prayers of the saints.” (Revelations 5:8)
