        A Summer Winter’s Tale

Look at me, On another day,
        said the seascape I say,
Look at me On another day…
come see… quickly When summer returns
But alas, to see we’ll return,
it’s got to be without delay

through your car’s on the sand to play
windscreen and… an hour we stay

        It’s raining So it was,
        … cold two days later
        it’s damp we returned
        … windy… sad … to look
        But wait at the bright
        isn’t it summer? blue beauty
        Yes indeed and rewrite
        so, Summer’s sorry tale
        stay in your car

        and look…
        through We play
the windscreen in the sandy swale
                                          with little spades
Come back, and a red pail.
        come back Later…
        don’t go, we update
my beach beauty the dreary tale

I need to show before summer
my bright side too turns stale!

These few lines were inspired by the photos – taken
two days apart at the same spot - promise!!
