No. 16 Field Hockey Has Three Named All-Big Ten

       PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 16 Rutgers field hockey had three student-athletes recognized as the all-
       conference teams were released on Wednesday. Gianna Glatz and Katie Larmour were named First
       Team All-Big Ten, while Austyn Cuneo was named Second Team All-Big Ten. Alanna Gollotto was
       named the team's Sportsmanship Award Honoree.


       With three recipients, the Scarlet Knights tied for the second most all-conference honorees of any Big
       Ten team. All three student-athletes were previously named Big Ten Preseason Players to Watch.

                  GIANNA GLATZ


                                                                 Gianna Glatz was named First Team All-Big Ten
                                                                 for the second straight year and is the only
                                                                 goalkeeper on the first team. She becomes the
                                                                 first Scarlet Knight since Amy Lewis in 2007 and
                                                                 2008 to earn consecutive First Team All-
                                                                 Conference honors.

                                                                 In the regular season, Glatz started 16 games
                                                                 with a 9-7 record. The junior held a 1.38 goals-
                                                                 against-average and posted a .744 save
                                                                 percentage on 65 saves. The Medford, N.J.
                                                                 native notched four shutouts and was named
       Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on September 23 for her performance in the win over No. 6
       Princeton. The Shawnee High School product had two of her shutouts in conference play (No. 7
       Michigan and No. 21 Ohio State).
