• RU tied for 5th in the conference overall.
           • The Scarlet Knights tied for the most shutouts (five) of any Big Ten team.

The Scarlet Knights are in excellent position to build on the positives of this season for future success.
The team graduates a five-person senior class but will return 17 players with game experience this
       season.

Rutgers will return an All-American goalkeeper in Gianna Glatz, a First Team All-Big Ten selection in
Katie Larmour and seven of its top eight scorers from last season, including nine of the 11 student-
athletes who tallied a goal on the year. 13 players with starting experience are set to return, including
four that started every game. That group includes Larmour, Kerrie Burns (third on the team with four
goals and nine points), Tayla Parkes (two goals and five assists) and back Abby Regn. Milena
Redlingshoefer, who started 12 games after injuries limited her early, finished second on the team with
six assists. RU also saw Clayre Smith and Rachel Houston tally multiple goals in their first season as a
Scarlet Knight, Kassidy Shetler and Gracey Butsack score goals, and saw Gianna Mancini, Annie Walsh
and Maggie Lamb earn time in the starting lineup.

I think the experience the team gained from this season will really carry us carry us into next season. It'll
be something we can really build upon. We need to continue to build and improve our winning
mentality. That'll be a big focus in the spring. Our team plays indoor for the first segment of the spring.
And we play in the tournament and our focus is just to compete as hard as we can and to win. To win
every game, win every match, and that's going to carry us into next season, I believe. We need to
improve technically; we need our freshmen to really step up and improve physically and technically.
That's a group that can really contribute next season. And I'm really looking forward to this time over
the spring to develop that that group of players. Head Coach Meredith Civico
