Treatment
The feathering is clipped and an antiseptic wash is used to remove any crusts of exudate.
This is to ensure that mites under the crusts are exposed to topical treatment. As affected legs
can be very sore, you may need to ask your vet to sedate the horse.
There is no licensed preparation for treatment of chorioptic mange in the horses. The
following treatments have been used with some success:
