Co-chairperson

               1.  Informs  the  chairperson  on the  status  of  the  implementation  of  plans,  programs,  projects,
                   activities, decisions and actions made with respect to library matters;
               2.  Coordinates access and discovery systems and programs in alignment with library priorities
                   and user needs;
               3.  Implements,  supervises,  coordinates  and  administers  library  plans,  projects,  programs  and
                   activities;
               4.  Plans for implementation of committee recommendations, and;
               5.  Institutes  measure  that  will  bring  about  the  best  from  the  members  of  the  committee  and
                   maximize their potentials to become effective and efficient in their assigned tasks.

               Secretary

               1.  Prepares notifications of meeting;
               2.  Disseminates appropriate materials to the members of the committee;
               3.  Circulates records and proceeding/minutes of the meetings, and;
               4.  Keeps all records and proceedings.

               Members


               Selection/acquisition

               1.  Serve as the library’s contact persons regarding evaluation of books, periodicals and non-print
                   materials in their campus/ college/ department/;
               2.  Recommend materials for acquisition and for disposal;
               3.  Help in checking the sufficiency and up-to-date-ness of library resources.

                       Information

                   Provide  the  chief  librarian  information  on  new  educational  policies,  new  courses  or  any
                   changes in the curriculum.
                   Collaborate with the library in keeping the faculty and students updated on library
                   developments in terms of collection, staff, services, and physical facilities through meetings,
                   newsletters, etc.
                   Help in the information dissemination of library services;

                       Coordination


               1.  Encourage faculty members to motivate students to utilize library facilities and resources to
                   the fullest;
               2.  Report to the dean and faculty members during faculty meetings concerns pertaining to the
                   library usages and services;
               3.  Gather recommendations on library services from the dean and co-faculty members and copy
                   furnish the chairperson of the library committee;
               4.  Coordinate request for library materials, and;
               5.  Provide inputs in formulating the Library Development Plan.

               Meeting of the University Library Committee

                       The committee convenes at least once every semester; however, the chairperson may,
               upon three days prior written notice, call a maximum of two (2) special meetings whenever
