I have been married for 46 years to my High school love—Jerry Van Brunt. We have 2
sons and 7 grandkids. I worked as a registered nurse for 30 years (between raising our 2
sons) at Monmouth Medical Center, surgi-centers, private physician’s office and
coordinating childbirth education.

I served as the first private scrub nurse to the Chief of Staff at Monmouth Medical, just
after I graduated from Monmouth School of Nursing. I retired in 1997 as the head of Gyn
services in Monmouth Medical Center’s operating room. Jerry received an early out from
Ft. Monmouth at that time we moved to White Mountains of NH.

We lived there for 17 years before relocating to the SOBX (southern outer banks) in NC
last August. We live in a small coastal town, Swansboro, very much like Long Branch
used to be in the day. As a Christian woman, I have been involved over the years in small
group ministry, as a women’s Bible teacher, as a youth leader, as a Fellowship of
Christian Athletes (FCA) sponsor and Community Bible Study (CBS) women’s ministry.

My interests are many to include downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing,
swimming, hiking, biking, beach walking and especially spending time with my
grandkids. I am a quilter, knitter, potter, watercolor artist and crafter. I am looking
forward to seeing all of you again at our 50th! God bless you all.
