person exactly like you in the whole history of the

universe. There will never be another one. Each

one of us is extremely fortunate to be here. Most of
us are blessed in a number of ways.

One of the stories that I find very striking

about attitude is the story of Victor Frankl. Victor

Frankl was an inmate in a concentration camp. He
tells his story in Man’s Search for Meaning. He

came to the realization that he had the absolute

freedom to choose his own attitude. The Nazi
guards couldn’t choose it for him. He found that

very liberating. Although he was locked in a

concentration camp, he felt free because he could
choose his own attitude. I don’t know that I’d be

able to choose such a positive attitude under those
circumstances. (His young wife was gassed and

murdered upon arrival at concentration camp). It

does show you what the potential is and what some
of the possibilities are. In reality if you live in the

United States you are already rich. If the nation

you live in is at peace you are indeed blessed. If
you are a free person and not a slave count your

blessings and be grateful because millions have
been slaves. If you are protected by armed police
