obvious. I believe these concepts should be taught

to all young people in school. To not do so is to

promote financial illiteracy. And there is plenty of
that. And that leads to problems of debt, poverty,

despair, and loss of opportunity for many people.

In the richest country on earth why should 97% of
65-year old’s be unable to write a check for $600?

That is the price people pay because they weren’t

taught the ideas in this little book. Or they didn’t
pursue them and learn them on their own.

It is also my wish to help young people avoid

the mistakes that sometimes damage lives. There

really can be a future that is wonderful and one
you don’t want to miss out on by falling into one of

the pitfalls that damage lives. If you understood
that in your future you would be wealthy and

happy, would you gamble your life on cigarettes,

drugs, or other dangerous activities? It would be
             wise not to.

The bottom line is that you can do it. It’s

simple. Simple but not always easy. You will be
able to understand these ideas. They are easy to

understand and, for most people, easily doable. It

is not difficult to put your wealth building on
                                                                      17
