obvious. I believe these concepts should be taught
to all young people in school. To not do so is to
promote financial illiteracy. And there is plenty of
that. And that leads to problems of debt, poverty,
despair, and loss of opportunity for many people.
In the richest country on earth why should 97% of
65-year old’s be unable to write a check for $600?
That is the price people pay because they weren’t
taught the ideas in this little book. Or they didn’t
pursue them and learn them on their own.
It is also my wish to help young people avoid
the mistakes that sometimes damage lives. There
really can be a future that is wonderful and one
you don’t want to miss out on by falling into one of
the pitfalls that damage lives. If you understood
that in your future you would be wealthy and
happy, would you gamble your life on cigarettes,
drugs, or other dangerous activities? It would be
wise not to.
The bottom line is that you can do it. It’s
simple. Simple but not always easy. You will be
able to understand these ideas. They are easy to
understand and, for most people, easily doable. It
is not difficult to put your wealth building on
