For most people, that would be a nice allowance.
And the good news is that the steps required to do
that are each really simple even easy. It just takes
some time. But you have time. We all do.
I was very fortunate. Money wasn’t the most
important thing to me. But I did pay attention
when money was the subject. I was very busy
working in my career (as a teacher) and raising our
family. Over time I have learned a few things about
money and investing and have become a fairly
successful investor. You could say I became
wealthy, financially independent and a millionaire
even though that wasn’t an urgent goal for me.
Of course, you can do it!
Sadly, most people never learn lots of these
ideas or figure it out. If only 3% become
millionaires that means 97% don’t. That is so
unfortunate because it is so doable. The vast
majority of people lose their most powerful wealth
building tool, their income, by going into debt to
buy things they want now instead of saving for it,
waiting and paying cash. Being a net worth
millionaire doesn’t make you very rich, but you
