and your loved ones will be OK and probably

        comfortable.

Many are fooled by the mistaken idea that the

government or someone else will provide for them.
Nobody could provide for you as well as you could

for yourself because they don’t care about your

welfare. Nobody cares about you or your loved ones
as much as you do. Nor should they. They don’t

have the motivation. They don’t know what your

goals are. And they are too busy providing for
themselves to care about your desires. Many

others lose years and even decades before they

hear of or learn these principles. The loss of that
time prevents them from being as successful as

they might have been had they known this
essential information at a younger age.

The ideas explained in this book should be

taught in schools but are not in most schools. They
could be part of mathematics and can easily be

understood by middle school aged children.

Learning these ideas at an early age would offer
advantages and would contribute to financial

literacy. They could also go a long way toward

preventing serious mistakes, bad choices or
                                                                  14
