families, and live their normal lives. That would be

        most people. I’d say for the “normal” people except

        normal  is  broke  even  in  America.  Becoming
        financially independent is rare enough that Dave

        Ramsey refers to these people as “weird”. But it is

        weird in a good way and a very good place to be.


               It  is  especially  written  for  students  and
        young people. Young people are blessed with lots

        of time, boundless energy, and optimism that life

        has the promise of being great. And it does. Having
        lots of time is one of the key ingredients to building

        wealth. It’s like growing a tree. It takes lots of time

        to do that. Building a fortune usually takes plenty
        of time too.


               It  is  my  hope  that  this  book  will  inform,

        inspire, and perhaps help some to believe that you
        can do great things in your life. And better yet, this

        book will show how to do that.


               These  ideas  are  simple  enough  for  middle
        school and high school students to understand. I

        know  that  because  I  have  shared  them  with

        students of that age. And they got it. And they were
        glad to learn these ideas. The practical benefits are
