A man goes to see his doctor complaining of severe
headaches:
Cause – Effect Relationship
Patient
“Doctor, doctor I’m dying! I can’t stand the
pain!
Every time I touch my head I get this
excruciating, shooting pain.” (symptom)
Doctor
The doctor looks at him and thinks what is
the diagnosis/problem
He then and asks the man what his job is?
Patient
“I’m a joiner says the man.”
Doctor
“You’ve a broken finger!” (cause)
“Don’t touch your head.”
