to take the analysis to whatever level they require.
Both models used in this section rely for their input on a
number of diagnostic tools some of which are illustrated on
the following page.
Introduction
A typical outline of the process of formulating strategy might
run as follows:
a) Establish corporate goals for a particular time period.
b) Evaluate gap between goals and forecast performance.
c) Evaluate the firm to identify key strengths and
weaknesses relevant to competitive strategy.
