To all intents and purposes Litan’s company had now
ceased to exist.
The Previous Twelve Months
A year earlier Litan had asked Jim if he would still help
him with the company even though Jim would have no
official or legal role. Jim had replied that he was willing to
help out in any unofficial capacity he could.
