Business Model



               By 2015 BofA had created a business model which allowed it

               to focus on what it perceived as its core businesses and

               strategies. The primary change was that from being
               acquisition driven to one of organic growth.

               Diagram 2 shows that traditional banking was the dominant

               focus with 72% of revenue coming from consumers with the

               other 28% coming from serving commercial customers.


               BofA’s second largest business is its investment bank

               accounting for $10.5 billion in net revenue.


               11% of investment banking revenue comes from B of A’s


               prime brokerage, which offers trading-related services to
